Happy Mother's Day week!!!

While Mother's Day is not until Sunday, I wanted to start this week off with honoring mothers all around.  Motherhood is not something that is easy, stressful at times but rewarding at others. I am a young mother and definitely have alot to learn as my children grow older. I may not be a perfect mother but God created me the way HE wants me to be.  I want to be the BEST mom I can be to my kids.

I do have a great mother by my side though that has helped and continuing to help me along the way. I want to take the time to honor my mom, Devonna. She is the best mother ever!!  She listens as I share my hard times of raising a very strong willed child, she laughs with me, cries with me and prays for me.  She is a Godly example of what a mom should be!  I LOVE YOU MOM!

She is the beautiful one in the middle!!  The other two are her sisters who are also wonderful mothers!!

I found this poem and I wanted to share it.

Dear mom,
Mom, I loved you yesterday, I love you tomorrow and everyday.
You were there for me my first day of school, to hold my hand and give me courage to go.
You listened to me when I needed to talk, you talked to me when I needed to listen.
You let me grow and learn from my own mistakes.
You never left my side when I was feeling down, I knew you would be there to pick me up.
I wish there was a way I could repay all the things you have done for me, but there's nothing great enough to repay the greatest mother of all.

Please take the time this week to show your mother how much she means to you!!!
