M-I-A!!!!!!!!!!
Yes I know I have been missing in action!! I have a good reason for it: We don't have internet right now! I am finally at a place where I can connect and blog again! Yay! I have missed it so much. It has been a couple of weeks now.
My last post was right before Mother's Day. I hope everyone enjoyed their day! I had a WONDERFUL Mother's Day weekend. I got to spend it with two very important women in my life, my mom and mother-in-law. And of course I can't leave out my dad and father-in-law. =) We all spent the weekend together including Courtney and her husband Omar, and Taylor. The only two we were missing was my brother Tyler, his wife Melissa and their little boy Kypton! I missed seeing them. I got a great surprise too on Sunday service, my family from Tulsa came! It was great to see them and it meant a lot for them to be there to show their support for me. I spoke at our Mother's Day service at New Life. I was VERY nervous. That was the first time I had ever done something like that but I enjoyed it. I wanted to encourage us as women and mother's to be the Godly example in our children's lives no matter how old they are. I slept very well that night, my heart was full and I am very blessed!
Not much since then has happened. We are finally closing on our new home this next week!! (praying, they haven't set the exact date but at least we are getting close.) There is light at the end of the tunnel! It has been quite the adventure living in the trailer, while very thankful for roof over our heads, I am ready to stretch my legs! =) God has been so good to us, we cannot thank Him enough!
We enjoyed spending this past weekend in Kansas City! We were able to see all of our great friends and spend time with some of them! It was wonderful to be back there and see the growth that has taken place in many lives. We heard a wonderful message from Bro. Stan Gleason! Spoke right to our hearts.
While our life has been very busy over the last 3 months, I have summed up the last 2 weeks in a matter of a couple of paragraphs. =) We welcome the lull. Summer has come and we are preparing for junior camp, senior camp, family camp, our children's birthdays, getting settled into our new home and somewhere in there we must fit in a weekend to Branson. Before we know it, school will start again and life will be back to a routine.
Speaking of school, I now have a third grader and a kindergartener!!! I can't believe my baby starts school this year. Time goes by so fast.
Ok so I am done rambling! Just wanted to give everyone a quick update. My posts will be random over the next week or so because I do not know how much I will be able to connect to the internet. I will have permanent connection when we move into our home. I love everyone and pray all is going well!!!
God Bless!
