Oklahoma City!!!!

So on my lunch breaks at work, I usually try to get a walk in. I sit at a computer all day long and the weather has been so beautiful lately that I can't stand staying in doors. Yesterday, I went to the Murrah Bombing Memorial and to the Myriad Gardens.  I took some pictures and thought I would share the beauty of the gardens and if you haven't seen the Murrah Bombing Memorial, it is breathtaking.

Oklahoma City is growing. Devon Energy is building this building below. It is 52 stories, by far the tallest in downtown OKC, and spans a few blocks. Construction started in 2009 and is supposed to be complete this year. There is a public food court on ground level and a fine dining restaurant is going to occupy the top two floors of the tower. It is pretty impressive!

Also in downtown OKC are the Myriad Gardens. They were renovated a couple of years ago and is now a sight to behold. My pictures do not do them justice. You can walk in through the trees and there are rocks that people sit on to eat their lunch. It is beautiful.

I hope you enjoy the pictures!  OKC is a growing and beautiful city. At first I was not happy about working downtown but after this walk and seeing all of the great sites, I enjoy it very much!
