Moving/House closing: Part 1
Whew!! This week has proven to be quite stressful for Robert and I. Our house closing was originally supposed to be today, then was pushed to Wednesday and THEN yesterday, the answer became, "Wednesday or Thursday." Make up your minds already! =) We are just anxious to get into the new space and start living again. We decided to go ahead and travel to Kansas City to load up a UHaul with our household items. We left this morning at 9 am, arrived in Kansas City at 2:30 pm, picked up the truck and took it right over to the Lee's Summit house. With the help of my wonderful parents, we were able to get the whole house loaded in just under 4 hours. We didn't plan on getting it done but things were running very smoothly so we just pushed through. We thank the blessed souls that were going to help us in the morning for volunteering! You are off the hook. =) Love you all.
Many pictures were taken today as the truck was filled and my little children so delightfully helped. The only snag today was both of our phones were ruined by a power surge. Not sure how it happened but we have been without today. I will upload some photos as soon as I can!
We will be heading home with the truck on Sunday after church at TLC. Looking forward to seeing everyone again so soon! Unfortunately our items will have to remain put until we close on the house on, "Wednesday or Thursday."
Through all of the traveling and delays on the house, God has been with us the whole way. We count our blessing everyday and thank Him for His hand of protection.
Stay tuned for the rest of our journey.
New Life News!
We had our monthly prayer meeting this past Thursday. What a WONDERFUL service it was. God moved and one of our young men was so close to receiving the Holy Ghost. God is GREAT!! We have a full month ahead of us with Junior & Senior Camps. We will be preparing for our first annual Missions Service coming up in July. During all of the planning and busy schedule, we are focusing on God and moving forward in our services. We want everything we can from Him each and every time the doors are open.
If you are in the Edmond area and do not have a local church to attend, please join us on Sunday at 3 pm for a time of Worship and Word!
