Here in the city we have an event called "Affair of the Heart." It is geared around hand made crafts and an array of talents. I haven't been in years so it was exciting to go again today. I love to do crafts and get creative (Pinterest being a weakness) so I went looking to get some great ideas. I have a downfall of looking at something and thinking,"oh I could totally make, it looks so easy!" But of course I never end up remembering those ideas and trying them. =)
Not only are there crafts but every few booths, FOOD! All sorts of samples: jam, salsa, soup......and the list goes on. So after trying many different food items, I walked away with a casserole dish and a dip spice pack.

What I like about both items:
- Both are made from local vendors and use local farmers
- Both are made with natural seasonings and spices.
- Both smell amazing. =)
I am not a big stickler on items only being organic or natural but I do like to keep from major processed foods. The Hubs and I really like to support the local farmers and local businesses.
I am anxious to try both of them! Will report back =)
Has anyone been to "Affair of the Heart?" What goodies have you found?
