I do believe I am done with winter!! I have been spoiled living back in Oklahoma. The winters have not been that bad until this year. I am thankful though for a roof over my head and a warm bed to sleep in.
Enough chatter about the weather... here is what has been going on in our journey so far! That is definitely more exciting news.
We had our first annual Children's crusade at New Life this past week! Greg and Heather Durham did the program and what a wonderful job they did. Words cannot express what it meant to the Hubs and I to have them there and see the ministry that they are doing. We had 42 in attendance including 17 children! Despite the bitter cold temperature and a couple inches of snow, we had a great crowd. Our ladies did an incredible job with our fellowship dinner after church. We had several different kinds of soup and it was a perfect day for that. The whole day was a HUGE success. Enjoy some pictures.

"Can You Handle the Heat?" game. The kids had to see how long they could hold a fireball candy in their mouth |

I hope you enjoyed looking at the pictures as much as I have! I love seeing all of their little smiling faces. God is been so good and 2014 is going to be a great year. Starting on February 26th, on the 4th Sunday of every month, we are having Kidz! Live at New Life. This is a new adventure and we are anxious to see where it takes us. Please keep those services in your prayers.
Backtracking a little bit.......The Hubs and I were able to attend a church conference in Alexandria, LA. We were blessed to go with my folks and saw many friends while there. Many of whom we have not seen in years. The messages were outstanding and of course everything else was top notch. Our closest friends from KC were able to attend, N&M Harvey. I miss you Mel!
