As promised.....

Wow!!  what a weekend.  I don't even know where to begin.  My last two weeks have been busy preparing for our church Valentine's Banquet.  It was a blast.  The youth served the adults and they did a wonderful job.  They had a great time which is what is most important.  Our dinner was made by our very own Tony Taylor.

My Valentine!!!

So as I mentioned a couple weeks ago, I was going to share with you my guest/kids bathroom remodel.  It wasn't a complete overhaul, just some cosmetic changes but sometimes, those can be just as dramatic.
Unfortunately, I do not have any before pictures. The bathroom was very dark with a lot of brown.  The cabinet was brown, the walls were brown and the floors are dark tile.  It was not inviting and well...dark.  I decided I wanted to make it very bright and fun with it being the kids bathroom.  The rest of my house is very light colors and I still wanted the bathroom to flow. I used the same color on the walls that is in the rest of the house but for some reason, it just looks different.

I still have yet to find the right curtain.  I want to be patient and find the one I like.  I saw in a show house the green vanity and just with the pictures in the room, I thought I would try it.  The green definitely added a punch of color!
